The Last Friday Collective are a group of singer-songwriters who form the core of the monthly Last Friday session at Liam O’Riain’s in Ballina, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
Nigel Coleman, Gerry Mulvenna, Kieran O’Dea and Steve Stellar are originally from Tipperary, Belfast, Limerick and Dublin respectively. All are active songwriters and musicians based in the Lough Derg region. They come from diverse musical backgrounds and combine together to form an energetic and distinctive mix of original songs and music. Instruments include acoustic guitars, tin whistles, saxophone, djembe drums, percussion and harmonica. When they perform, four musical worlds collide creating an exciting fusion of energy and sound.
